Post of Latvia dedicates a picturesque stamp to the 120th anniversary of the narrow-gauge railway Gulbene-Alūksne

On the 2nd of September 2023, post of Lavia releases a new stamp dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the narrow-gauge railway line Gulbene-Alūksne, which is the only regularly operating line of its kind in the Baltics. The stamp features the railway locomotive Ferdinands as it arrives at the Stāmeriena station, the most popular stop of the annual Bānītis festival. The design of the stamp dedicated to the anniversary has been created by the artist Aleksejs Naumovs
