Denmark 2026 Happy New Post !
15.01.2026
One of the most exciting developments in philately, not only as a wonderful hobby but also as a discipline studying the history of postal service, was the end of letter collection through public letterboxes in Denmark. For 500 years, the Danish Royal Mail provided this service, and now Denmark has become the first country in the world to dismantle these postboxes. However, this doesn't mean the end of traditional paper letter sending and delivery services. This service is now being provided by another Danish postal operator, DAO, with its own stamps. You can now order the first Danish postage stamps for 2026 from us in the relevant section of the store, and we'll tell you a little more about this important change for Danish postal and philately...
EUROPA 70 Joint issue
04.01.2026
2026 marks a milestone in the fascinating history of the joint issuance of the European Postal Administrations (EUROPA CEPT). It's 70 years old. To commemorate this occasion, we've chosen a common stamp theme, which we'll showcase using the example of our home country, Finland.
As has always been the case since the first year of operation of the international philatelic service company Peterstamps, that is, since 1990, we pay special attention to the topic of EUROPA. Of course, this will be the case in this anniversary year as well.
Dear collectors, you can rest assured that you'll be able to order all EUROPA 70 stamps, without exception, in the relevant section of our store as they are released into circulation.
Happy New EUROPA 70 Year!
Your Peterstamps team :-)
